Especially with the cliche and predictable jokes about the "first gentleman" and enduring women bragging for 4 years about being in control of the country

Cuomo is facing a lot of backlash from the way he handled Sandy especially how long it took him to get on LIPA's case. I know a lot of people that have soured on him over the last 2 weeks.

Well actually the very day or morning after Sandy happened he put out an address saying tha LIPA has a "history" of taking long with everything. So he was actually on target right away.

But even if he wasn't i doubt that(not saying that Sandy is a small issue or anything) it would have that much effect on him.

But like I said he criticized them the very first day
