Tim Lincecum was 5’11 170, and he threw hard like a 6’4 pitcher. Unfortunately that was also his downfall

There were fewer Black pitchers than Black QBs when I was coming up :francis:

Wonder how many potential pitchers got pushed off the position coming up for being a "good athlete" over the years :mjpls:

There used to be a good amount of black starters up until around the mid 90s....for some reason it became more rare.....wonder why:mjpls:

I remember when Dontrelle Willis had his breakout season and folks were shocked a black pitcher could do so well like Dave Stewart, Vida Blue, Oil Can Boyd, Doc Gooden, Bob Gibson didnt exist
