Yeah I guess it was the relevance factor that was missing
also just listening to the Simon Says remix it's bonkers
who had the best verse?

Yes for Stress
MobbAnyone like Internal Affairs?
I think it's one of the best albums of 1999 and in my top 5 along with DOOM, Roots, Mos and Dre.
Wish I could add it to my music![]()

Stress: The Extinction Agenda is one of my favorite hip-hop albums. I'd put it in my top 25.
monch is goat imo, sadly his catalog lacks in comparison to the other greats
i voted the ok debut and second as classics. the second is a classic without a doubt, while the debut is also ahead of its time tho it does sound aged as do many albums around that time
equinox is really solid but the abundance of skits held it back
even tho im a die hard monch fan i gota say no to internal affairs. 'the next sh!t' didnt really fit in, and 'official' was mediocre by his standards. take those two out and replace them with average monch tracks and it would be a definite classic. and just to be picky, the simon says remix (or the original) couldve done with a twist to the beat
im not a fan of skits and i understand they're required to line all the tracks up, but minutes of talking and ish really just dont do it for me. it drags the pace of the album down, like just before the final track there was minutes of silence before the track comes inagree with the bold
interesting about the skits for Equinox being a let down....you think the tracks themselves were ok?
Equinox is low key a personal classic to me as well. People HATED that album when it dropped though.
ok's 3 album run is as good as anyone's imo, i guess the beats on equinox were not what people expected at first
Some weirdo decided to vote no on Stress
