I wasn't blaming you but ok...I'm saying that sort of behaviour was one of the main reasons I left.

But yeah ok stay salty
:ld:
im not salty at all, im just telling the truth. I'm aware that the way I post is part of what ruined the site, but so is the way u post.

this is the first time you brought it up
:jbhmm:

you're entitled to your opinion. I'm sure most people on this site and on RG are happy with how I post, so that's good with me. anyway if you want to say something, PM me. don't derail the thread.

First two are undeniable classics
The predator is debatable I really loved that album too and would consider it a personal classic

Counting his work with NWA:whew:

Cube definitely left his mark on hip hop if he's not on your top 10:usure:

because the internet way more of a classic than any of these boring prehistoric dust magnets

i know you're at least in part trolling but rap, with some xceptions*, sux today. the main problem, i guess, is that the master brick layers that built the post-millenial hip hop house inspired a generation of missing-the-pointers who morphed into the kind of bland effect-and-no-cause gangsta rappers, purveyors of ratchet tropes, affirmers of the doctine of "get money", grafters of indistinct quirks onto tasteful scene appreciation regurgitation, that broadly (though obviously incompletely) encapsulates the current hip hop vanguard. this that house that gucci built, that weezy f baby (and the f stands for falloff) built, that based god built; but its like sum yuppies bought it and moved in cos of the price tag dikk waving opportunities the relocation presented and can't even admire the architecture properly. the plague of soundcloud non-entities aping whatever new artist Count Drokular (leaching styles and joy in a blog near u) plucks from the electron passageways; the "blog mafia"; the "Pitchfork co-option"--sour tastes all.

*fewtch is a shining beacon (or is that now in the rearview?), earlyman, chano, vince staples, krit--i got love n hope n xpectations; gates, thugger (migos) thrill, occasionally; roc marci was, 'n ka is holding down NY

anywhey, the longnshort is that ice cube shyts on weird al gambino.

amerikkas and death certificate for me

i had a copy of amerikkas. those two songs that led it off were hard as fukk

Amerikkkas Most Wanted was my favorite album. It's been what? 26 years? Damn I remember being in Middle School bumping this shyt with my walk man. Damn I'm old. :mjlol:

Anyways after all these years, that simple beat in Amerikkka's Most Wanted song is still banging. Even the lyrics suffocate the wack shyt that Young faq and Future put out today. How the fukk you go from great music to garbage music baffles the shyt out of me.
