Voted yes for Big L :wow:
I think this album is crazy underrated.
And I think it's stood the test of time. It was definitely overlooked in 95, but it still rings bells to this day. :wow:
Now a lot of that may be due to his death :yeshrug:
And all the fans that hopped on the band wagon after he died, but I had Lifestylez on cassette so I'm allowed :lolbron:

it's underrated but in a sense it is a poor man's The Infamous

I think it is slightly lacking in quality, as for relevance, I'm not really sure of it unless as you said the death played a role

The album kind of came and went in 96. Woo Hah was huge, but that dropped in 95 if I'm not mistaken? :jbhmm:

not sure tbh breh

I would have thought It's a Party and other stuff are pretty timeless

also can you say Redman RENEGADE. that cypher was magnificent and Redman bossed it
:wow:

It's a Party was a great song, but it was a minor hit when it dropped. :yeshrug:
The posse song didn't make much waves in 96 :yeshrug:

oh no wasn't talking about how big the posse cut was, just appreciating it! what a track!

ok fair enough about It's a Party

and yeah you're right about The Infamous tbh...

"Flipmode Squad Meets Def Squad" was my favorite song on the album. That and "Everything Remains Raw."
