We got a problem here.
By my count - Kane only got 16 firm solo joints...and 10 (and a possible) is from the first 2 albums.
That’s not a good ratio.
However, that’s not counting the features.
So not “Symphony”, “Burn Hollywood Burn”, “No Delayin’”, “In The Game”.
But some of his joints will depend on what crowd is there.
I have Kane as #12 all-time all things considered, and Kris as #7...
and I think this battle will reflect that schism, because KRS got too many joints for BDK.

Not going to say he is overrated but I listened to Paid in Full and Long Live a few days ago and Kane’s lyrics didn’t hit like I remember that album. Basically I am saying going back and listening he didn’t sound as amazing as Ra. Rakim lyrics just aged better. Also lyrically he was only close to Rakim and G Rap for a very short period.
well, Kane has some great material. He just doesnt have top 10 all time great material. He just doesnt. He overrated as far as being in top 10 conversations
