I tried to watch The Godfather. First 15 minutes had me like . I don't know if it was high expectations, my attention span, or the other shyt I coulda been doing but that shyt just did not grab my interest. I haven't seen any of the renowned mob movies and I don't really feel like I am missing out on anything.

I refuse to see Titanic because the premise never interested me and then people just went way overboard with the hype. Seriously its the cliché guy from wrong side of the tracks falls in love with the rich girl story on a doomed boat. I'm just not moved :manny:

Haven't seen an Avengers since Avengers :heh:. I will eventually see them (well the most recent two anyway).

I try to watch anything that's supposed to be a classic, and most of them hold up or at least I can understand why they're highly praised even if I don't want to see them again.

Movies like The Godfather, 2001, Sergio Leone movies are slow but they're philosophical, deep pieces of cinema not action movies. If you don't make an effort to tune in to their frequency rather than expecting them to tune into yours, you won't get much out of them.

Shane is a coo flick. My pops used to watch it all the time. Was ahead if it's time in several scenes especially during a paticular gun draw. One of the better cac cowboy old school flicks from the before 60s.

I went through the OG AFI list a while back. So many forgotten classics, but you have to have the patience for artsy movies. If you needed the GoT episode explanations they aint for you. :mjlol:

The Matrix - I tried forcing myself to get into the plot of this film rather than the action (never been into the gun-fu thing). Just seems too random and confusing to take any further than the summary.

The Departed.

Someone spoiled it for me though I forgot what they said. Plus now I’m at a point where I don’t watch movies or shows predominantly with White people, unless it’s like a SuperHero movie or some shyt.
