Random spin: memories of rappers posting or affected by SOHH:

I remember Lupe posting when he first dropped and there were mad people posting in his thread saying all kinds of wild sh*t. Lupe commented saying that on SOHH, “the homo sh*t is quite extra” hahahha

Cormega getting heated at Galvatron on some other site’s interview saying Galvy wakes up everyday thinking about him.

Common performing “Food” on Chappelle and getting posted up and people were feeling it. Then “Be” leaked and had the studio version on it and everyone said it was wack. When the retail dropped, studio version was replaced with that live version. I’m still convinced to this day that was due to SOHH influence.

I will have known some of you cats for 20 years next September.

That’s crazy considering I vividly remember sohh popping up first in my google search looking for a rap forum to find somewhere to talk about Jay-Z vs Nas outside of the barbershop.

There’s no way you could’ve convinced me I’d be one of the old heads still on a messageboard one day.

I still enjoy this community, it’s the best gathering of heads and characters on the internet. Period.
