Comics have this rich history and your telling me you can't make a Godfather status type of flick that no one can deny is dope?
If the movie doesn't deliver to the fan boys, the old heads, the new heads, the hipsters, and the ADD kids than its not hitting... You can't just pander to one demographic...

i like Watchmen, over time a lot of people seemed to hate it. the opening credit sequence is my favorite of all time. I watch that all the time

The final fight in the city felt like they took out the transformers and inserted the Avengers... I want some change the game type of thing, Marvel seems to do whats been tried and proven and polishes it up.

I definitely agree that Snyder can do it. To add some kind of continuity from Superman, he NEEDS to be the one in charge of it.

The movie made $, Had it's dope moments, etc. no one is denying that...
But we still dealing with canon fodder type enemies in 2012?! The Chitauri were a joke... at no point did i feel that the Avengers could lose the fight.

I overlooked Banes goons because of being distracted by the other portions of the movie that I did not like. But overall this summer for the superhero genre was
