Pac got shot in the fall of 94', Who Shot Ya was released winter of 95.
Like you and others have said before, it was recorded in 94', but the release of the song was perceived to be a diss.
Not sure why you keep saying "nobody" thought it was a diss when many people did, people in the industry, people associated with Pac, and even people that worked at Bad Boy (check art of dialogue for reference)
And to bolster that point, we can literally visit the archived threads from the 90s and rap fans also thought that it was a diss as well.
Unless I'm not remembering correctly, didn't he blame Jimmy and Haitian Jack for the rape and robbery? I think he put a large part of the blame to Puffy as well and I believe Puffy responded to that.
The most blatant thing Pac pulled off that blurred the lines was the 2 of America's most wanted video.

But doctors count enter and exit wounds as gun shots, even superficial ones. For example, people say 50 cent was "really" shot 3-5 times but if you count those other enter/exit wounds it adds up to 9.

His timeline isn’t off. Pac did the Vibe interview. But after that he basically ain’t say shyt for the rest of the year. The DPG shooting happened not too long after Pac got out. No disses from Death Row happened yet. That’s facts. PAC’s first official diss was the 2 Of America’s Most Wanted video. Which came out like April 96. But Biggie already sent more shots in the Dead Presidents video. Which was February 96. AND he said “Who Shot Ya” in the vid.

You don't need to argue with anyone, had you done some simple research you can find documents showing he was shot 5 times. There's a couple on the internet and there's one YT video of the police doing a press conference and the officer on the scene clearly saying "Tupac Shakur was shot 5 times".

End of the day, both sides did things really wrong, and some of it was out of Pac and Bigs control.


List the interviews/songs of Pac drastically changing his story? At worst, he blurred the lines but Bad Boy LITERALLY released Who Shot Ya around Pac's death to capitalize on the buzz surrounding Pac's case and getting shot.

If that doesn't happen, Pac would not have attacked Bad Boy the way he did. Prior to NY 87, and Hit Em Up Pac was not going at Bad Boy or naming Big in anything.

Also, Pac was already Plat on two albums and gold on another, why would he create this beef solely for records?
