Like let’s really sit back and think about the fact that some of us are really justifying a man dying because he had the nerve to go the second largest city in the country to promote his work of art at a time when the gang bangers of the city wanted to kill him because his friend got killed before he got a chance to tell them he was just playing.

I think anyone with a brain not infatuated with 2pac has said this. I'm not a big fan of Biggie either, but 2pac was a problem when he was alive. I swear i didn't like that dude. And for all of you young mfers who weren't alive or in diapers when this shyt was going on, Pac and Big aren't that much older than I am. I was 19 when Pac got killed and at that time, I could not understand how this man had that many followers from starting beef with people to sell records.

not really. If he was moving that freely in Cali with warnings, he would have been way more complacent in NY. They would have eventually got him. The sad part is that there are rappers today still getting killed while hanging out not learning from the mistakes of Biggie, Pac, and many others. If I'm a rapper, reach a certain level and start getting death threats, I'm not even going to my mom's house without security

In the decades after, and especially coming to a head the past few years....multiple incidents of visiting rappers being shot, and being killed in Los Angeles. And this was over extortion.

The bad blood that was in the air around that time, BIG should have been under high priority level security protection his entire time in Los Angeles. Including traveling in bulletproof vehicles.

Big had nothing to do with Quad City shooting , and Pac knew it. If not right away, he knew later. He ran with the WWF promo shyt anyway. But once all those events play out.....have to act and move accordingly. Had the resources for protection, but left openings to get shot. Person who was after him took the opening.
