I went for @clanarchy in the end. Just appreciated the cleanness of the chops and it didn't sacrifice too much of the rawness aswell.
both were great beats. really, really dope shyt.
i'd give it to @clanarchy though. it was a journey, there was a lot of variation...i'd bet it wasn't all the same idea but he combined things and made it happen. if you were to change anything, i'd say the pops and crackles and "vinyl" sound were way too much in my opinion.
Much appreciated, I can't sacrifice the raw, I prefer a swampy kind of mix but like @Propaganda said, I did kinda overdo the crackle and pop on this one..I went for @clanarchy in the end. Just appreciated the cleanness of the chops and it didn't sacrifice too much of the rawness aswell.
Thanks for checking us out and the feedback. I know what you saying about the vinyl sounds and agree in hindsight there is some overkill there. Nasty habit, I be on some vinyl crackle fetish shyt sometimes lol. Don't forget to cast the vote, appreciated.
Not doubt I agree I overdid this one.i appreciate dirtying things up with that shyt too. but i just find it's just too loud and upfront in this beat.
you gotta treat it as a texture in the track, not a feature of it...if that makes any sense.
just some constructive criticism.
