7mile to SE & Uptown!
Both of these are dope as hell as was to be expected :ehh:
@clanarchy does so much different shyt in his beats...people always equate his sound to RZA but hell I hear a lot of Bomb Squad is his work :hhh: as the sample is saying this beat is just crazy :mjgrin:
@Maharishi is another one who does a LOT of different shyt within his beats. Hell this might be his MOST straightforward track I've heard from him :ohhh: well from a drums perspective...normally he plays with the listener a little more and like a mad scientist builds in to creation at the end point :jawalrus:
with that said I was blown away at the intro then when he dropped the track I was like :whoo:
Hell this might be my favorite track I have heard from him and that's saying a lot. :patrice:
For this battle I'm going to go with @Maharishi but :salute: to both. Great work as always

:scust: @clanarchy with additional quarantine time on his hands, I see what you mean breh. The chop work, vocal chops/placement and the drums (:wow:) are excellent

@Maharishi

Pulling a Premo and Pete Rock special (:wow:) with the intro beat before the main course.
This beat had excellent chop work too, and is just as good as Clan's.

Hard to choose but I went with the aggressive piano in Clanarchy's to help with me with a decision, both of these beats are two of the best I've heard this year in hiphop, real talk :salute:

Wow thanks, I checked some of @Maharishi beats out beforehand and I knew I couldn't come with some half baked shyt and good job too as his beat is real dope.
Glad you appreciated the vocal/sample work, that beat is stitched together using at least 4 different songs..

both were great beats. really, really dope shyt.

i'd give it to @clanarchy though. it was a journey, there was a lot of variation...i'd bet it wasn't all the same idea but he combined things and made it happen. if you were to change anything, i'd say the pops and crackles and "vinyl" sound were way too much in my opinion.

@Maharishi

your beat was sick man. i could see a lot of artists going hard on that. i hear little brother in my head right now. but i just felt it wasn't as dynamic and interesting as the your opponent's. great job though. seriously.
