It’s been a tough one.
Felt like it started with Kobe’s tragic death.
Then it’s been this, that, and the other ever since.
Can’t lie though, this is a feel good moment in the midst of all the madness.
It’s fitting that the Lakers win this chip.
With Kobe’s unexpected passing, no other outcome would feel right.
He meant so much to basketball, he was just an exceptional and ferocious competitor.
It’s poetic that his purple and gold, that he wore so proudly, reign supreme again.
It’s a fitting end to the most unusual season in memory.
Rest In Peace to the great Kobe Bean Bryant.
Salute to Bron, AD, and these Lakers who played special and inspired ball in this bubble.
They delivered, and in doing so they honored one of the franchise’s greatest and one of the best to ever do it.
