Jimmy’s play reminds me of Bron in 15 against the Warriors; I used to be skeptical about him being a number 1 guy, but he made me look like a idiot. I can respect that.

I was saying last year Jimmy didn’t want to contend for a title by choosing to go to Miami. That he was more concerned with partying on South Beach and being the #1 on a team that wasn’t going anywhere. That he should’ve stayed in Philly if he really wanted a title. Jimmy made me look hella stupid :pachaha:

When have you ever heard of players coming to play for the Miami Heat to party. All you hear is how strict the organization is.

What people didn't take account for was the environment and the culture Miami has built. The only team that has been to the Finals more than them since the turn of the century is the Lakers.

Pat has won literally on every level as a player, coach and GM. He's been apart of some legendary teams. Most people think Miami insist the days of Wade and Shaq or the Big 3. Actually, goes back to the Zo and Hardaway days that Pat was apart of. Then you got players like Zo and UD who are involved in the everyday operations of the team and hold players accountable. And Spo is a better coach than people give him credit for.

What Miami has built in the past 30 years is impressive. Not saying that they're on the level of the Lakers or Celtics, but it definitely rivals a team like the Spurs. Crazy how they can still be competitive even without necessarily having a top 5 player on the team. There's a distinctive culture that 25+ teams haven't been able to emulate.

All Jimmy wanted was to be surrounded by players who are on the same wavelength as him. He finally found it. He wasn't gonna find that in Minny or Philly. Philly should've been took that leap. Ask Embiid. He knows. That's why he came out and said he misses Jimmy.

The Celtics are an overrated organization. Won 90% of their titles in an era of 8 teams and 3 games to the finals. They haven't been shyt for most years after 1987. Miami and LA are far better orgs.

Facts, like I said in the intro piece, Pat took a little of every experience he been through and made Miami a team with some cache.
