Yeah, AD is clearly the best player of the last decade. A lot of number 1 picks fukking suck ass
but at the same time, we gotta think how much of this is because these number 1 picks play for franchises that will never go anywhere. AD's biggest accomplishment before this year was sweeping fukking Portland lol

He's ahead of some of them

Even with a championship and a Finals MVP, I’d still put him a tier below the elite tier (Duncan, Malone, Nowitzki, Barkley, Garnett). He still needs to consistently get his teams to the playoffs like those other guys did (only has 3 appearances in 8 seasons). He’s still young so he’ll pile up those appearances with these Lakers and when his career is done, he’ll probably be Top 3 at worst (barring injuries of course).
