I have to rewatch season 1, it’s been close to 2 years since last season and I’m lost in the sauce. The pace of this season is fast as hell- guess they’re trying to make up for lost time.

Basically think of every Ben Affleck movie where he reminds us that he’s from Boston, mix in “The Town” along with the inner struggle of a very educated black male attorney trying to correct the wrongs in the racist system of injustice referred to as Boston PD, corrupt cops, corrupt lawyers, feds, bank robbery goes wrong -
all talking place after the real life story of a white man who murdered his wife and blamed a black man for her murder when in reality, he murdered his own wife and ended up killing himself. The Boston race Rampage of 1989. Black lives ruined by police brutality bc a white man was a coward with an ego who couldn’t confess that he killed his wife. No she really didn’t - you can tell from her reaction in this latest episode 4. I think she really thought her sons were obedient and positive examples of the community. She was clueless. Juxtaposed with her being a community advocate and acting as a mother figure for the projects but ignorant to what was going on under her own roof. Which is why Decourcey’s wife finally spoke up and knocked her off her pedestal a little bit.
