As a consumer the entry price point matters (i.e how much does the game cost, and is it worth my purchase).

Dozens of FTP games come out every year. NONE of them get anywhere close to the engagement of Fortnight.

No game is really prohibitably expensive. People play the games they enjoy spending time with.

When someone sits down to play a game they are playing it cause they like it, not cause it cost a certain amount of money.

As a consumer contemplating how much revenue Sony gets off my purchase doesn't matter. If it's a good game, I'm good.

Good for you, but how much money sony makes is obviously an pertinent topic some people, hence the existence of these types of threads every month.

And the fact that xbox had its best month ever when the series x was 300 dollars and the series s was 200 and still got outsold by the other consoles says a lot. Especially in its biggest territory
