Best version of this story I've ever seen.
I don't know who wrote this but they brought depth and created full characters out of caricatures. All of the characters' motivations and backgrounds were fully fleshed out. There was only one moment when things teetered on the edge of cornball, but then the director/writer snapped back and grounded the story into something more real. CGI was on point too, and there was also a heavy douse of comedy, which was needed because this story deals with several deaths that had the potential to make the film feel melancholy.
And my brother Robb aka Richard Madden killed it as the prince. Dude can seriously act his ass off, and for a white boy he's really easy on the eyes too.

This Lily James chick playing Cinderellla is fine. But I'm not sure if she's a legit dime or she just looks like a dime compared to her 
stepsisters in the movie.
