I thought it was very good, but the first 7 min just felt like trading big moves and going nowhere. Jericho vs Omega was better and had better psychology.

I just rewatched it and I think he may be right

At first I thought Zayn and Nak was much better but this match had old school heeling, manager interference, great selling and Mauro the GAWD on the call, and a continuation of another storyline at the end

Pretty much perfect besides maybe 5 mins too long

Actually I think the only thing it lacked was better selling. At times they just shrugged shyt off - that either looked impactful or could've meant much more - to hit a big spot or reversal sequence, BUT they did such a good job conveying emotion and building drama that selling could take a back seat to the other stuff.

I don't think the match is perfect or a classic like most people online seem to think it was, but I can totally see where they are coming from. Like I said on the show thread, this was a better version of what Omega and Okada tried to do last year, so I feel this deserves it's praise at least.

:patrice: know what it actually DID feel like 5 minutes too long. right there before the ending stretch when Gargano is crawling back into the ring.

I did not think Omega/Jericho was better and I'm a fan of that match. I thought Jericho/Omega was slightly better than some of the more standard extreme rules matches we've seen in WWE over the years. Omega/Jericho was probably in reality around a 4.5 on the star scale.

This was one of the few matches I've seen in recent years where on first watch there is no doubt in my mind it's 5 stars. It had everything in terms of storytelling, psychology, heeling, babyface comebacks, nuclear crowd that was highly invested etc.

There were too many superkick Gargano spamming the same offence for 10min., I would agree on the 5* if it were maybe 10 minute shorter, also the booking was dumb, Ciamoa should've cost hi the match. Can't give it 5 stars when had to look at Johnny Grapplings crusty herpes lips for 30min. Almas had a 5* performance tho
