Wow 96 years.
A true Black queen who moved with dignity and grace. Her performances were always so powerful. I remember all the times I watched Sounder with my departed grandmother who was around her age. I got to meet her a couple of times once when she was doing a Broadway play and when they renamed the school in East Orange after her I wanna say back in 96 or 97.
