Ciara should have worded this better and made her message from a place of learning from her mistakes. Posting this makes her look bad because just a while ago she was walking in the spirit of a baby momma. Women cant predict everything but, predicting that Future was going to leave her a babymomma was not rocket science. She should speak from a place of learning and not from a high horse as if she was walking in the spirit of marriage before. If she had been walking in the spirit of marriage with future she would have known to curve him like the plague before tying herself to him with a child.

Stop letting dudes off the hook. Perhaps she could have used better judgement with Future but you and I have no idea how that relationship went. Fact of the matter is she is married and seemingly happy. But our community seems to have an issue with marriage and not a problem with the baby mama/baby dady syndrome that is killing us. The fact that men and women are OK with creating broken homes with little thought about raising a child in a stable 2 parent household is a massive failure.

I'd bet money the people upset with her have no issue listening to poisonous rap. Seems like the message no matter how on point it is gets rejected. Could have come from Ciara, Trump or even Mandela himself and people would still find a way to shyt on the messenger instead of looking in the mirror.

More folk should push for marriage, that is what create stability and allows people to progress.

Negativity (Kayfabe)

This shows that feminism--once again--is bullshyt.

A man would be called all types of "cis-male, misogynist, hetero-normative, bully, subscriber-ter" Twitter language nonsense.

But, when they get "triggered" they always fall back on traditional insults.

Bet if I check her timeline she was praising Gabby Union's advice about taking ya p*ssy on tour.

Such a frivolous argument when so many wrongs are going on day to day in our community.

The products of not knowing your history. It’s sad.

We can get 1,000 rts or trending in Ciara, but not on someone wrongly convicted, not on these missing black girls etc.

It’s comedy at this point and they wonder why you don’t have a seat at the table. We’ve been trained to be clowns.

I get where your coming from but, I am in no way letting the man off of the hook. What other option should I suggest other than avoiding garbage men like future. Should women wait for a man to decide to do right while giving him as many kids and permanent ties to her as he likes or, should I continue to advocate for leaving these men completely alone. Its dosent matter if the relationship with future was rosey or not, Future was not marriage material and she tried to make him marriage material. There is no perhaps in her story, she absolutely could have used better judgement with Future but chose not to.
I have no problem with the messenger, I have a problem with the way she is going about giving the message.
