Why do people give so much importance to radio? Especially these days when people ain't even selling records like that
Yea...radio is a dying format.
Chuck should focus on building a new platform that is balanced (and thats if playing music is still viable). All you really need is good on air personalities to get shyt going.

But most people I know use iTunes, or some Spotify type service.

Ebro saying "if the song is good it will play" is the most coded statement ever. He really feels like he's talking to utter and complete idiots and fools. Most of the time he probably is though.

Rosenberg and Ebro shouldn't even be able to fix their face to speak to Chuck. Period. I feel like the culture is weak because nobody told them to shut their fukking mouths and not try to put themselves on the same level as a legend who pushed this culture to where it is today. They work at the station and they don't even respect it like that. No matter what they say.

ROsenberg ain't more HipHop than a kid who grew up on the streets back in the day when it was in the ghetto. The same Ghettos he was afraid to drive through the streets of where it was at. Think he would have been comfortable?

Naw he's the "expert" because he bought some albums back in the day in the safety of his Jewish Suburb.

That's every fukking thing that's wrong with the culture today. The folks who picked this shyt up from a safe distance now dictate and feel like they can speak to a legend.

Good points but who gives a fukk about what Rosenberg thinks about the music

I've never said to myself 'damn I wonder what Rosenberg thinks about this' when listening to a song or an album

Or 'damn I hope this songs gets played on hot97'

Just go out and support your favorite artists and stop bytchin... shyt could be worse

he actually has a website, that himself and other artists do articles, and podcast on.. forgot the name of it, but was asked to do some work for it few years ago..

matter of fact, he just took a bunch of them on a tour recently.. :patrice:
