while i agree about the sound mixing, there's a whole lot of hottakes in this thread.
I've had problems for years now actually hearing the dialogue in some movies and it was WAY before Nolan started making movies. The sound quality is some shyt on most movies that come out these days.

Just like the final battle in the last season of GOT and you couldn't see shyt cause the screen was so dark. They blamed the audience and said it was the artistic vision

The audio engineering quality in both music and movies has been more and more disregarded and lazy over the last several years, for sure.

I had complaints until Tenet that shyt was too much

Modern limiting. Look at films in the 80s-2000 the sound was properly mixed but these days want loud and ignorant. I can’t watch Hulu anymore

I've been saying this shyt for years. Most movies are mixed way too loud and the dialogue get drowned out. I always end up squinting at the screen not b/c I can't see but b/c I'm trying to focus on the dialogue.
