Christie is right...and i have the same opinion that very few Obama voters want gifts since the majority of them probably do fine on their own...

however this whole thing seems way too coordinated like Romney is meant to be the fall guy and he's in on it. So to create the new "compassionate" GOP Romney will symbolize the "old guard" that gets thrown out.

Romney definitely wasn't inspiring and wasn't really well liked in the primaries...his main thing was that he could raise money and supposedly have the best shot at winning...he wasn't a guy that a movement could be build around like say Herman Cain or Sarah Palin...

for the electoral thumping Romney got we should have nominated Herman Cain he could have motivated people had new ideas and would have been really entertaining...Palin knew it was going to be tough to win since honestly while the economy wasn't great it wasn't bad enough to really knock Obama off and Obama has some cover with the fact that it all blew up before he even took office...Palin might have a shot at 2016 if Obama doesn't produce

This is the third time you all have been fooled by the Daily Currant. To be fair this story actually sounded quite plausible as I could imagine a fat Jersey-ite like Christie going off on him.

none of this is plausible. The GOP can take 2016 if they nominate someone who speaking only about the economy and foreign policy.. barely speaks social issues, isn't associated with the Tea party, can appeal to woman, doesn't seem threatening to minorities, isn't considered a out of touch minority, isn't considered a C@C, and doesn't have that strong wall street trickle down economics fck the middle class and labor, feel to his presentation.

He also said because in NJ, he holds a very delicate balance, keep in mind most of the leadership in NJ is democratic and are made up of left-leaning liberals. He has to stay in their good graces, in case of he wants to run for Governor again or take a shot at the Republican Prez nomination.
