apples and oranges brehs
do you know any highly intelligent humans who have seen god who are busy waging war against him?
I've never seen God/Allah, but I know "He" is real, literally the last being in existence I would want smoke with, that's why I don't get angry at God. Last time was years ago, I was going through some stuff, got in the shower, and for like 20 seconds was basically like 'God why You doin this to me', then I remembered "never curse God" I took back my thoughts and words, asked God for forgiveness, ain't ever remotely get angry at God since. Plus I looked at it like "God loves me, He wouldn't torture me for fun or no reason, who said it was even God, probably Satan, demons, some evil forces, negative energy etc"
Once again...why "big" what if where God is is so small he cannot be perceived or vice versa
what makes you efficiently knowledgeable about The God if you don't know him?
O believers! Do not take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Would you like to give Allah solid proof against yourselves?

Here is a thought experiment with this passage
Matthew 5:11-13
how many beings are spoken about without them coming to you personally and say this is what I am.
outstanding post breh, genuine food for thought, I'm book marking this thread, it was worth it, TheColi is the goat site
We ALWAYS try to answer this by using knowledge and theory OUTSIDE of The Bible, which is a no no.
What does Satan mean? It means adversary, which in essence means his nature was always in opposition to creation as tempter, accuser, and destroyer. That puts him in opposition to God.
It is an error that he wanted to be equal to God because people apply the parable of Lucifer from Ezekiel to Satan. Lucifer was more likely a fallen king, not an angelic being.
Satan is like a prosecutor and his whole existence was accusing and persecuting creation before God. See the book of Job. Look at the name Satan and what it means.
wise words and advice, thanks, I'm going to read the Bible again, got Bibles on deck, I have always heard that Satan wasn't the adversary of God, but the adversary of man. I have Christian's and Sunni Muslims in my family, and even though they have some different beliefs, they all basically told me Satan is man's problem...not God/Allah's problem
Also, there needs to be clarity on the war in Heaven. This wasn't an event that took place pre-Creation. This is after. Satan still had access to Heaven in the book of Job, which is obviously after the creation. After the war in Heaven, he no longer had access to Heaven to persecute creation. Therefore the war in Heaven was sometime after creation. Well, if this war takes place after the creation, when did it occur? Look no further than the New Testament. Look at how many people suffered demonic possession. This wasn't occurring in the Old Testament. The closest account was King Saul, but nothing as rampant as in the New Testament.
Also, the war was waged with Michael, the archangel. Not with God. Michael and his angel overcame Satan and his angels.
Thank you for your insight breh, I'm def checking that out when I read the Bible again
basically I've read the Bible so many times I lost count, but it's so LAYERED I always read something and I'm basically like wow, how did I miss that???
But yes breh I've definitely heard it was the angel Michael who gave Satan the hands, Satan wasn't like #2 in raw power behind God or anything
I've also heard some people say that Micheal and Jesus were the same being, but I'm not ready for that, gotta be humble and, read, learn, and pray for possible insight
and a part that was absolutely HILARIOUS in the Bible was...I believe a few of Jesus disciples were acting kinda shook of Satan, and the war in Heaven came up, and Jesus had patience at first, but they just kept asking questions about the war, this isn't verbatim, but Jesus basically gets tired of the questions and say 'I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning'
I KNOW some brehs in here know that exact part, and where it's at, but yall have been kind to me enough, I ain't gonna ask a million questions and bug yall
thanks everyone for your posts, I appreciate your honest thoughts, but I won't ask anymore questions just in case peeps start arguing with each other in here
like the saying goes "leave well enough alone" or "quit while you're still ahead"
thanks brehs, me personally I do believe in God, I believe God is good, and I just want all the brehs in TLR to know my mom is doing just fine now
