1. The argument that Christianity has done more harm than good is actually false. There are a plethora of contributions Christianity has made to civilization. A simple google search will reveal this.
2. Are you associating the molestation of children by Catholic priest as the face of Christianity?
3. If I did something terrible in the name of Obama, am I responsible for what I have done or is Obama since I used his name in my terrible actions?
4. Is Jesus responsible for wars, or are human beings responsible for wars?
Matthew 24:4
And Jesus answered them, "See that no one leads you astray.
5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray.
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
5. The Scriptures say that many will arise who are false profits with the sole intention of taking advantage of people.
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
2 Peter 2:1-3
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
Jesus predicted all of these things. What is your explanation for that? He was exactly right about what was going to happen.
