Why does a God have to look like you? I'm not even a Christian but that sounds egotistical as hell. If this diety is an all mighty being why do I give a fukk what human race he most resembles?

Hundreds of millions of black people every day pray to a white man or a Arab man. All while considering original black religions backwards or "evil". shyt is straight up embarrassing.
Why do people say this
when you pray you ain’t praying to Jesus or Mohammed, you’re praying to god.

I’m tired of this ‘you pray to a white Jesus’ BS that you guys love to regurgitate. You shouldn’t be making any graven images anyway, it was literally in the second commandment.

Why would you follow a god because he looks like you? Why would it matter if he doesn't? Does the Christian god even have a fixated human appearance?
I'd assume that the racial differences that obsess humans would be as trivial as hair color to an entity that claims infinity and the creation of existence
Dismiss a god on no better basis that he's under 6 feet brehs
Dismiss a god because you don't like the way the body he picked looked breh
Dismiss a god because he's not a part of your made up social category that won't matter past the speck of time you're in breh

For the past 2-3 years I've been listening to more and more gospel music as my rap music intake has decreased and I sometimes wonder what the person these people are passionately singing to, look like?
Like, in their mind, who does this Jesus look like to them?
The fact that these black people are more than likely envisioning and spilling their guts out for a blue eyed white man makes me cringe.

I'm not religious, but I grew up Christian, and I distinctly remember learning that Jesus can take any form and that God is a being beyond comprehension. Assuming what I learned in a Christian school + church is true, I don't get why people care about this
"Jesus" is merely a avatar and representation of the all/the spirit of god. The point he is trying to make to them is that they can all be "Jesus".
You dont question why he would say hes the only mediator? But then tell the people hes going to send another mediator who can talk to god after hes gone. The "Son" is in reference to "The Spirit"
Jesus is just someone who is righteous and was annointed by god. May or may not have been a real person(probably not). But even if he was he isnt the important part of the story. But like jesus said,only his sheep will know his voice.
Just like the people back then couldnt understand him. Most so called christians of today dont have that discernment either.
