Because Jesus wasn't a Black man. He was a Palestinian Jew and the Church you went to is not demonstrative of ALL Churches. The one I was forced to attend only had wooden carvings of Jesus, in mahogany, being crucified and none of the Churches we visited had depictions of a "White" Jesus. This was back in the 70's/early-80's.

Why didn't ANY of the African 'dieties' convince Africans not to sell their own people to Europeans or Arabs? Why were African 'dieties' utterly powerless to do anything to prevent African Nations from collapsing? Why did African 'dieties' absolutely fail to make ANY African Nation a world power?

Most Africans don't worship Jesus.
