nas wouldnt make it into certain clubs in the UK without membership, he is not a cross over star. a hiphop star yes a faded legend yes, but jay is in all these little knuckleheads top 5 in 2017. most people wouldnt even be able to point out nas in a line up.
enough is enough, im not going back and forth. nas is 2/10 on the celebrity scale and jay is 10/10. he even made it into people magazine about his LGBT mother, dude is a major star. while the original point of this thread was to show.

Even without an album and less sales, Nas is probably more known now just off the strength of Hip Hop as a culture being more mainstream than ever. He just did a tour in the US where he was doing ampitheathre venues pulling 12-17;5k audience members a night
In London he's done Wembley and the O2 so its whatever
