i got a couple more takes about this and i don't wanna put em in that giant ass thread so i'll do it here
first off i don't think the joke itself is what cause the slap but the fact Chris was like "OOOOH COME ON THAT WAS A NICE ONE" when the audience started groaning, it was that reaction combined with Jada's reaction that made Will do what he did
2nd this may sound like i'm trying to clown but i'd put money on the idea that Will did what he thought Pac would do in that situation
like dude literally probably thought what would Tupac do if he was here? cause that's the only reason I can think for why he'd do something as drastic as run on stage and slap the nikka when there's like 50 other much more rational ways he could've handled the situation and this fool was literally laughing right after the joke
