I was looking on imdb and saw that they had versions of Mcconaughey's kid who are in their 70's and 80's( going by the actors age). Looks like they are gonna spend 70 some years in space. Would suck if he ends up saving the world but misses his kids whole lives.

I'm sure the movie will be on some "McConaughey returns to earth an old man who's failed but as it turns out the earth always restores itself so the planet is fine and despite all the greatness of infinite space he witnessed he missed out on the biggest miracle of all, his children growing up".

Remember, this used to be a Spielberg project. :sas2:

:to: @Sensitive Blake Griffin Nolan did it breh, he did it. Just look on twitter and it's overflowing with "wows" for it.

:rudy: They do that shyt for damn near every highly anticipated movie

Although i do find it funny how everyone gives chris nolan so much credit when he hasn't made a great movie without his brother's input :sas2:

Quite true. A Nolan movie receives immediate high praise from fickle Twitter users? Stop the presses!

And I've been saying the bolded for years now. Jonathan Nolan provides the heart and soul for all his brother's movies. That's why I've been rooting for him to get a directing gig so he can finally separate from his brother and show that he's the true great Nolan, and his brother is just Ridley Scott in disguise.

Purify yourself
So they don't? :stopitslime:

I'm still gonna watch the movie but the stannery is ridiculous lol. It seems like the cult of nolan have their minds made up this is a great movie, which will lead to them defending it like crazy.

Nolan isn't even Prime Ridley Scott level. I'd put bladerunner and alien above any nolan movies, gladiator also. :yeshrug:

Chris nolan is a just a tier above Tony Scott status :lolbron:

I'm going to be honest. I'm only going to see this because it's a Nolan film and Matthew Mcconaughey and Anne Hathaway have been on a roll lately. The trailer isn't particularly compelling or even that intriguing to me. I hope it turns out to be great but right now I don't see anything that promises that it will be.
