Same with Ricky Ortiz and his rally towel, and when they had him pitching nicknames and merchandise for himself. It was making fun of someone who was doing it in the back.
Remember Paul London very briefly getting a whiner gimmick on Velocity, where he as a face would grab a mic and complain after losing his matches?
I wouldn't give them the benefit of it being a mere coincidence, they been petty.
