oh yeah i know about all that...it happened during his run with hulk hogan...he chose to see it to the end and get this money because he was being paid a shytload...and it cost him big time

He was never the same after that. Watching him come to WCW twice, dude just looked old and out of place. Was definitely a huge star in his prime tho', kind of overlooked today as one of Hogan's biggest feuds. They even had him on hold for the Mania III main event just in case Andre couldn't do it, cause he and Hogan packed a stadium the previous summer. It's understandable that he didn't want to leave and get surgery during that run, but yeah, it definitely hurt him in the long run.

I hate how the wrestling industry, in particular the WWE, does it's former performers. :scust:

I can't really say this tho'... I mean sure, Vince ain't payin' everybody's bills nshyt, but they do offer rehab and shyt like that to past performers. They could just say it was their own decision to do drugs and let them figure it out for themselves, but it's there for them. Even Sunny, as big of a fukkup as she is, could probably still get help today. Now far as the people who fell on hard times financially, they could stand to do a little better, or at the very least, offer help in dire situations.

honestly i thought he was fine in the WCW...he fit in the southern hokey culture being he was as southern as it came...he has reigns as tv and tag champ and outside of that arm issue he was straight in the ring
