:why: This a joke? right breh....

If not, thats a very dangerous mentality to have about topics like these :merchant:

Not really. I’m saying don’t assume we know these cats. We think we do cause we see them on tv or listen to their music. We know what they want us to know

:ehh: I agree with this, but we don't be knowing them funky females either :usure:

That’s fair too. Ultimately society used to be heavily slanted against the women and they had the burden to find the proof. Now were veering hard in the other direction. Eventually we gotta find the medium

On a real tip, are nikkas caping for fukking Chris Hardwick in this thread? :gucci::gucci::gucci: I understand feeling some type of way about the MeToo extremists (not saying all of them are) but taking this route is even worse, its coming off like alot of yall caping for the shyt. Ol girl likely loved the guy for a while and was veiled by that, but then reality literally started beating that wall down. Maybe the lines are being blurred too much between consensual and non, but for someone who seems like a dikk as much as this guy does, it seems pretty cut and dry to me.
Some brehs don't like women so much they'll cape for any man, regardless of what he's done :yeshrug:

And there's the issue. Society is trying to correct itself for years of that kind of shyt. A lot of behavior and beliefs on this board is just a microcosm of a larger issue

Here's the thing, leaving out all of the centuries of sexism and misogyny (which is difficult to do) that contribute to this, just going on sheer investigative logic, what isn't believable about this?

Why does one doubt this? We have an eye witness, who will be humiliated and "dragged" for this across her life, called an opportunist and a bitter whore, (see how quickly we get back to the misogyny), anyway, she lives very publicly with a very private humiliation that millions of women (and men) experience, that makes her look weak, unintelligent, every negative adjective in the book.

Think if we had two business partners, one, after a few years accused the other of incredibly unethical, illegal practices, that he too was complicit in, and had evidence to back it, that his former partner was skimming from an investment fund or whatever.

Would we went instantly say he's a liar? He's bitter and jealous? Some of that is just capitalism, and how he view funny and success as indicators of wealth and "goodness. But, we probably wouldn't.

That fact that millions identify with these millionaires and celebrities says it all, these powerful men have to lose some money and some opportunities....oh the horror.

so then isnt it fukked up that even admitting that you dont know someone, you jump to guilt on someone elses word with no precedence?

It could be. shyt possibly. But I’m not surprised. Like when I hear rappers I like have done some foul shyt I’m just not surprised. I’m not surprised to hear actors or producers or directors have taken advantage of women behind the scenes.

And as far as precedence goes, it’s rare we have that’s. Many cases of domestic abuse or violence happen with no precursor and it’s often the people you wouldn’t expect to ever do anything foul. I don’t know Chris Hardwick as a man, I only know the persona. So if the man did some foul shyt to a woman he was dating it’s her word against mine and I don’t know that man to tell her she’s wrong. And of course we’ll never find out if she’s wrong or right unless it’s somerhing that can go to trial and most of the time these things won’t go to trial

But we don't have any evidence in this situation yet. So this analogy doesn't make sense
