He was bagged and suspended for an amphetamine in 2014.I don't remember any steroids rumors on him it's like he has markelle fultz issues or some shyt. He should also try shortening that big ass swing.

For realThe other Kris Davis ran through B-More and hit 4 HR’s in 24 hours this week too...

Batting average is essentially meaningless in baseball now, even if it is still fun to look at the depths to which Davis has fallen. That was maybe the biggest point of Moneyball. A guy who hits .250 with a lot of home runs and a ton of walks is far more valuable than a guy hitting .320 with little power who never walks.
In 2013 Davis was only hitting .286 but had an OBP of .370 and with 53 homers had an insane slugging average of .630. Those are GREAT numbers.
Even in 2015 he was only hitting .260, but his OBP was .360 and his slugging was .560. Those are still good numbers.
But he did fall off with something fierce. Someone in the other thread said it was because they took his ritalin away from him.
Yeah I know, i get the money ball angle. All I'm saying is his overall production wasnt worth 7 years $161 million and hes one of the reasons why teams are not trying to pay those type of contracts anymore.

I came in to ask the same thing. Even the monstars left the guys with more talent than this. Even by sheer luck, I’d bet most of us could pick up at least one hit over the course of 54 at bats.
What he gets for saying Bonds wasn’t the real hr king![]()

few seasons ago he hit 50+ homers. they didn't just hand that money to somebody who never producedI know nothing about baseball but was this guy good at one point? All that guaranteed money. Got damn![]()
