Now that I actually watch the video it's not THAT bad. It's some hating shyt, but it's not like they were going out of their way to diss Mike and in fact Bowe didn't say shyt at all except Mike was scared of him, which 90% of boxers would say about anybody on the planet. Hell, James Toney would probably tell you Mike Tyson was scared of him, it is what it is. Byrd was taking shots but it's not like he made anything up, and it's not like he said Mike wasn't a great fighter, he just said Mike's competition wasn't necessarily the greatest during his era, which is something EVERYBODY says. :yeshrug:

Get the fuk outta here with that :camby: :laff:

you can say tyson head and shoulder above byrd but in no way shape or form is tyson head and shoulders above bowe. when you really look at it, thieir resume matches up quite evenly, tyson just had the bigger name and got the superstardom bowe never had.

shyt they even got some of the same names on there resume pinklon, seldon, tubbs, tyrell biggs, buster mathis, holyfield, golota

so your gonna forget that bowe unified titles as well, when he beat holyfield in the first fight :snoop: say what you want to say bout bowe ill take the biggest win on his resume which is holyfield (top 10, even arguable top 5 heavyweight of all time) >>>> the biggest win on tyson resume, a glorified light heavyweight michael spinks.

i think tyson is more overrated by casuals then boxing purists. i have no problem what either bowe or byrd said :manny:

Your opinion :trash:. Neither of them tried to unify the titles so shut your ish down & Bowe flat out wouldn't fight Lennox Lewis in a punk move. Tyson was far from perfect but at least during the 80's & early 90's he pretty much fought everyone. Became the youngest heavyweight champ & unified. Neither of them could or wouldn't do it so take your wack opinion :camby:

Byrd needs to STFU.

Mike Tyson from 1985 till about 1990 was pure rage in boxing form with training from Cus D'Amato the GAWD.

You guys need to watch Tyson: Raw and Uncut and then see how silly questioning Tyson's greatness is.

Tyson fell off because he lacked that focus he had in his first few years. People shyt on him for that loss to Buster Douglas, but he actually fought a good fight that day and in fact almost knocked Douglas out in that fight.

If you still doubt how good this guy was in his prime and focused...then I don't know what to tell you.

He would have beat Holyfield and Lewis if he kept that focus and intensity. He just lost it after he went to jail...he was never the same fighter again.

Real talk, I had this conversation with someone last night.

I asked this dude I was with who was hyping up Tyson "who did Mike Tyson beat in the 1980s?"

He could not think of anyone. I mentioned Larry Holmes who was 75% on his way to :flabbynsick:. He couldnt name anyone else. I mentioned Spinx and Rudduck and Smith.

Tyson is arguably the most overrated boxer of all time. Thats not a diss of dude either, and tbh he would probably tell you the same. Who knows what woulda happened in the 90s had he not gone to prison, but I can only say what did happen instead of what could have happened.

Saying that, Bowe :camby:

what the fuk do you mean bowe didn't try to Unify titles :snoop: what part of undisputed heavyweight champion don't you understand. bowe won the ibf, wba and wbc title from holyfield. he was undisputed! what other title did he have to get?

being unified heavyweight champion, is being unified champion period. if you think tyson is on a higher pedestal because he did it younger by beating boncrusher smith, berbick and tony tucker fuk outta here with that bullshyt.
