Their situation is similar to 50 Cent & Young Buck's. As flawed as Chris public image may be, he's still valuable & makes money... McCall got a big head very quick in the game & came at too many industry chicks the wrong way & it cost a few people money including Chris. Chris tried to help dude more than a few times & he kept blowing his chances. Some cats are ungrateful of the positions they've been handed... Kevin McCall is one of those.
