His music has become generic and corny

well the problem with Chris is, his style now and choice of production/beats are continual takeoffs of Justin Bieber, "What Do You Mean", and "Sorry". Those "tropical pop beats

That's what I find disappointing the most. At a point many of these songs run together because of that.

I still like several of the songs, but you can tell he's not working with any big name writers and producers anymore. Probably to cut down on costs.

That said, some of the songs are indeed good...just not classics like in his previous catalog.

45 songs isn't too many more than his norm b/c he used to drop mixtapes before his albums.

Just finished it a few mins ago

Gonna have to remove those tropical joints...shyt is becoming forced onto albums at this point. Bryson Tiller did it, Omarion did it, Wale did it...:camby:

The actual singing r&b joints, fire

Sensei, fire

Yellowtape, even though this sounded like some Bryson Tiller tough guy shyt. Fire

Some of these beats are very interchangable unfortunately

24 songs in and I’ve only removed 2 songs. This is surprisingly good so far

i'm a breezy stan and aint no way i'm sitting thru 45 tracks of this nigaa, :wtf:

Why are people complaining about this, just treat it like you would different albums. Listein to different tracks at different times. The album is fire and I am glad he dropped 45 tracks, will be bumping this for a while.

Tracks 1-17 are damn near perfect tracks. And pretty much right after “Party” you could pinpoint exactly what tracks to cut. From then on if he would have kept “Other nikkas,” “Yellow Tape,” and “Only 4 Me”. This would have been one of his strongest albums.

I love his voice but some of his choices of subjects matter either becomes repetitive or sucks.

Became a fan because of his X ALBUM. THAT WHOLE ALBUM WAS AMAZING. His daughter album didn’t do anything for me.

IL PLAY THIS over the weekend.

X is his strongest album overall but my personal fave is Fortune.

The thing is the first disc is damn near perfect. The second disc is where the leftovers are piling up. You keep the first disc and take 2-3 tracks from the second this is easily top 3 albums from breezy. Hell it still might be top 3 as is.
