This shyt go hard :whoo: even my 17 year old cousin who don’t fukk with R&B at all even was like:leon:

First listen I was like meh, another long album with too much 808s and vocal effects with mid level club joints… after more spins, this is a great summer album and is one of the best to drop this year. We are extremely lucky to have CB especially compared to these new weirdos.

I will continue to hold out hope that he will make a thriller or confessions but for now I will enjoy this collection of songs and let the boy cook
How are y’all judging good? If the beats are the only thing that matters, I guess, though most the tracks push no boundaries there. His writing and lyrics on this are pretty mediocre to just bad on a lot of songs. The bar for r&b is low if this is a good album…at best it’s ok.

A little too long but it’s better than Drake’s album. The Fivio and Lil Durk songs are good.

I think the biggest issue with Chris Brown is he is a surface level artist. There not much introspection or vulnerability with his music. For once I wish Chris would try to make real soul music and not just music to party and fukk too. Chris gang affiliation is one of the worst things that has happened to his music, because it forces him to walk this fine line between being street and R&B. You can tell he very insecure about coming off “Soft” in his music. It shouldnt be like that for an R&B singer.

Justin Bieber sadly makes better music and better albums than BreeZy at this stage. Prove me wrong :manny:

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa

This is one of the most astute things I’ve heard here regarding an artist

I don’t expect a traditional R&B from non of these Artist R&B is dead tbh females from 15 to 25 don’t fukk with R&B at all unless it’s that fukk a niqqa shyt like summer walker and sza if breezy would’ve made a confessions like album in 2022 a lot of people would’ve :camby: If warm embrace dropped in 2015 that shyt would’ve been a top 20 hit but now that shyt didn’t even chart i love R&B I listen to 90s and early 2000s r&b heavy but black teens and young adults don’t fukk with it:manny:

As an :flabbynsick: Rnb fan I thought we were going to get some good RnB soulful singing shyt. Also a a VA reppper this shyt is Meh to me, but imma support. Truth is matter as a DJ I'll just probably play the hits 😂 which off first listen I couldn't tell you. It's like homie had some 20's something yes men in his sessions that was just agreeing with everything he did. This shyt to me isn't different than the last album.

Surprisingly his features with rappers are pretty good on this. I usually have a rule about RNB cuts with rappers in them in the 2000s
