But they still won the chip the year before, had a record 73 wins, blew through the playoffs up to that point, went up 3-1 on one of the GOATs and lost after he ended up having the best series of his career.

They were set, KD was an accessory.

They never needed him.
They believe they need him and needed him. If they didn't they wouldn't have took time from their vacation to recruit him.

You say this as if they weren’t successful without him.

They recruited him because he was available.

He probably got recruited by someone from every team in the league.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t think he would actually come there initially, but why not try.

Draymond let him know they didn’t really respect that nikka early in the season.

He called that man a bytch to his face several times and I’m sure him, Steph, and Klay be laughing at him behind his back because they know he pulled a soft move.

While I don’t agree with this either, it’s different.

The Lakers are still building their team.

KD went to an already completed, champion, all time great team just to make it easier for himself on the court and to grab a couple easy rings.
They weren’t the champions though

Biggggg load of bullshyt here bruh

Wade, Bron, and Bosh forming a team with the remnants of a 47 win Miami team is in no way shape or form worse than Durant.

What you're conveniently leaving out is that in 2009, Miami nor Toronto were no threat to the East. Boston was gonna reign over that conference for another 3-4 years and Chicago was next up to contend.

Contrast to Durant joining a 73 win team, where he will never get double teamed, oh and he destabilized one of two teams who actually put up a fight against the Warriors. Its complete overkill.

Act like Wade wasn't considered 1a or 1b best player in the world when LeBron joined him on his team. It doesn't need to have been a 73 win team that choked away a 3-1 lead on the biggest stage to destabilize the conference, stack the deck, and ensure LeBron never got double teamed. All that happened without it when he joined Miami because he joined a top 3 player, and a top 10 player in a weak conference.

But of course you will depend on win count from the previous year, as if the Miami team that was about to be (even without LeBron signing) the same team that it was prior to 2010 Free Agency.

Wade carried the corpse of Jermaine O'neal, rookies, and perennial bust Michael Beasley to the playoffs and averaged like 35 on 55% shooting against the same team that made LeBron quit with a better cast. They lost, obviously, since Wade's cast was trash, but everyone in the world knew that just giving him Bosh and a whole other max slot to either fill out the roster or get another elite player was automatically putting them as favorites to challenge Boston and take over the east. Bron was icing on a cake that Wade was already bout to eat before Bron made his "Decision".

Keep in mind, Wade himself had already won a championship in the most dominant fashion before LeBron. So it was Wade that was proven not Bron. And yet, after Bron's 2011 sabotage, and Miami's eventual win the next year, there was no lingering thought that Bron's rings didn't count or that his chips had asterisks.

It's literally one player (KD) being punished by the media indefinitely for doing a similar thing they completely excused another player (Bron) for.

But then again, I know you're going to come back with a post lying and downplaying Wade's greatness, and Bosh's greatness, everything Kyrie did and Love did, and act like Bron had to do it all and carried championship teams on his own. This is the reason why Bron is so toxic. Most toxic fanbase in sports. Literally the only one I can think of that can't tout their guys' abilities without bringing everyone around him down, including actual NBA greats and legends of the game. Disgusting.

They didn't recruit Boogie or anybody after KD chief.

Media clearly shaping a narrative. They are bored with the Warriors now it seems...eager to aid in causing internal strife
What media are you watching? ESPN and Fox Sports are always big upping the Warriors. This team isn't lacking of any fanfare :usure:

A 47 win Heat + Prime Bosh was a contender coming out the east.

A 47 win Heat with OG Wade at the helm + Bosh + an entire other max slot. They were gonna be favorites in the East with or without LeBron.

But you're talking to a Bron stan. They will deny anybody's greatness and completely rewrite history if they think it makes LeBron look better. 0 respect for the game.
