3 looks like it provides the best balance between armor and weapons.

Fast: You'd have to rely on headshots, so I'd go with 7. Aiming a shotty high up guarantees a headshot and gives a better opportunity at a 2-for-1 kill if there's several around. Or like breh said, aim for the legs. Plus you get a vehicle, which is needed.

Slow: Maybe 5. No noise, and long swords are better than a knife.

i don't think people realize how heavy that is. That is the armor along and it doesn't include the equipment like food weapons etc. You'll be lugging that around and it will wear on you. When a swarm comes you will not be as mobile especially with runners. It will be a bytch to go hiking with if you are forced outta towns. Doesn't look comfortable when the weather gets hot.....................I mean 50 lbs and doesn't include a backpack

With all that shyt on, someone would find you collapsed on the side of the road from exhaustion day 1 dressed like a damn samurai. If you do somehow not die immediately im sure the first person you run across will kill you....

What makes you think it's retro? We're living in modern times where material is lighter and durable. Armor isn't listed as "classic" or "ancient."

6 got the best combo of ammo + manual weapons + the swamp suit. Figure I’ll get the longest life out of them

Yeah you can this is starting gear. Can be hard to acquire more depending on where you are cities seem to have herds of these.
And these are runners probably will respond to noise

You know what is underrated in these scenarios? Bicycles. You never see bicycles. They consume less energy for travelling if ya car is out and they can outrun even the runners. So for your case you get the off road bikes or something it can really help

4 has to be the best choice. The M4 is a versatile weapons system with a semi and full fire selector for situational adaptation. You got a shytton of ammo. A rebreather so you can camp by water and still have a way out.
