Yearly. Im young enough where it makes sense
itll never make sense....ever

1. tomorrow not promised
2. You can invest $6M of the $7M from day one in risk free assets and generate enough $ where it surpasses the 400K x however long you gonna live. You can generate 300K a year easily from investing the $6M in investment grade bonds or infrastructure debt as an example.

people really dont understand finances

If you put 5 million into index funds and blow 2 million on buying new house, cars etc..

You then can continue to live on withdrawing 3% of the 5 million from index funds yearly ($150,000) and in 30 years that 5 million will still turn into ~44 million

Of course you can adjust numbers however you like and withdraw more each year or less, either way you will come up on top

7m is retire right now, be able to do what you want for the rest of your life money. Take 2m and put it on your bank account, the other 5 you can literally just have in stocks/bonds/hysa and eat off the growth for life. That's it. The lump sum will make you massive money

People overestimate how hard investing is. Just get in some index funds/ETFs. Buy the haystack, don't look for the needle. Super simple easy shyt

Take the $7 million.

Use half to put in several startups that don’t need insane capital (including your down)

With $3.5 million left, take $1 million a buy as much bricks you can get with that. Break those down and front that work to whoever is willing to get their hands dirty.

With $2.5 million left buy as much cheap farmland in NowehereVille USA. Get $1 million in land. Build up a crib on it and use the rest as a crypto mining farm, solar farm and an actual agricultural farm — and immediately make $ from it. Lots of money.

Hire some illegal immigrants and they (and their families) can live on the land. You’ll need people to work and let them know to play their position because ICE is a phone call away.

With $1.5 million left use $500k to sprinkle in various institutions like getting museum memberships and finding ways to infiltrate social circles you aren’t normally used to being part of. You’ll get to be around people with real $ and they will assume you have $ too.

Keep $500k in cash on hand of the last million because you never know.

Use the last $500k for guns, ammo, body armor, bioweapons

I'm young now, but it would still take 20+ years to make $7 million at that salary. So the $7 million is better.

Also, the title and the poll have different numbers.
