This is why I've never been a fan of southpaws using the shoulder roll to defend left hooks but that's how they're taught in Cuban boxing school.
they never have their right hand up because they are used to rolling that punch. Then they get in there with someone who can take advantage of this and set traps n they get caught. Molina did it, Ángulo did it and even RIGOAT has been dropped by orthodox left hooks, that's one of the reasons I've always preferred Loma's style over Rigo's. there is literally NO reason for any of those guys to fight Lara. Canelo already beat him and Cotto is either going to fight jobbers or big names, if he is going to take an L it's going to be for big $ Canelo, Floyd etc. GGG is an hbo fighter so there's not point in even bringing that up.

Yeah Lara blew it. I doubt he'll ever get a big fight opportunity like he had again.
Instead of chasing names that want nothing to do with him, maybe he should just do his own thing. Try to collect each title one by one (although difficult). Try to get more realistic names (like Kirkland, K9). Continue working on his offense.
