Would you? Dude was 26th in the NFL in QBR this year. I think Chip will get Kaep back to prime form, but if I were Chip, I would not want to blindly attach my wagon to Kaep.

I've heard that while discussions were happening and who the Eagles should seek at QB that Chip wasnt a huge fan of dude

was he a horrible QB when he lead your team to the super bowl, a place alex smith who he replaced has never been
he also gave our team our 1st super bowl loss..
Alex Smith was a few plays from getting us to the super bowl the year before
our team was carried by our top tier defense both years.. Trent Dilfer has a super bowl ring - are you saying hes a good qb because he made it tot he super bowl ? 
he threw for 3000 yards and 20 tds for the season... below average stats for a QB in todays game..hardly the reason we were successful

Trent Dilfer is good enough to win a superbowl, something a lot of QBs can't do with a good defense
