The article talks about the ebb and flow of the Chinese origin belief paradigm.
The inherent biases over time to service specific social and political ends, the blatant misdirection and nationalistic pandering, and a lot of the loose ends and unfulfilled hypotheses. Even the bronze-material origin story is up for explanation, while it is likely it came from Egypt, it doesn't at all mean Chinese people come from Egypt, but that there was trade between the two nations, which was sort of obvious.
