You have so many people in the US from Politicians, Entertainers, Athletes and Business people on the take hoping to make money off China.

But they don't realize once China gets completely self-sufficient they'll take all their intellectual property and kick them out of the country.

The difference between China and the US if a Chinese citizen betrays their country its life in prison or execution. Meanwhile a US Business person or Politician can betray the US and nothing happens to them.

Yup exactly what I’m saying. They studied, grinned, and beared it for the last 50+ years. They’ve caught up and surpassed us economically and have now passed on the manufacturing sector to Vietnam(some American businesses are too). Every week there’s a new Chinese billionaire and they’ve evoked neoliberal policies around the world, indebting foreign lands to their control.

Economically any country would have to be stupid to up against them, but they don’t have the military might or experience to take on America or any other country that’s been active in the field of it comes to it. Expecting some Cold War sht to ensue within the next 10 years but idk if we’d win that tbh.

Eh. China is going to lap us multiple times over in terms of quantity on land, sea, and air. They have enough personnel to man a Navy that's much larger than the one that they have now, and they already have a bigger one than us at the moment.

Army wise? They could feasibly employ a draft and have a standing army of 100 million. That's entirely too fukking much to fight.

Exactlty and thats why the Space Force was stood up. The DoD was able to justify its existence as a means to perform ISR and combat chinas communications nodes via Geospatial warfare . Doenst matter how big your army is if you have no comms.

Also this just ensures that DoD contract spending will increase. We are in the second cold war and this time IMO it will be never ending. Due to our close relationship consumer wise to china.

Reminds me how folks said that US companies helped russia during the russian revolution, before WW1, WW2 and during the 50s and 60s.

China already has space capabilities . They may not have a defined USSF branch but they've been testing and launching military sats for awhile now
