I agree that the USA should practice protectionism with respect to both goods AND services. Close the borders to many more foreign-mades such that manufacturing jobs return to the states. Too much stuff we buy is made in China and Taiwan. China ain't buyin' nearly as many products from American factories!

Those goods would be extremely expensive if produced elsewhere than in China, ain't no one in any developped country willing to work under the same conditions. Ain't happening anytime soon, MAYBE down the road when China's middle-class expands...and the rest of the world is manufacturing for them
