I know their history well breh the struggle and sacrifice, better than many here. Do you know who Puyi was? Cixi? China's history is a long one of more than 5000 years. They were the largest economic power predating the 19th century, I applaud their national restoration in the face of western hegemony and obstruction. They are literally surrounded and folks still threatened. Their renewed prosperity is not my pain. Never once claimed they're perfect, as is no govt on earth. Can I not acknowledge their accomplishments and wish them well? Will I lose my "blackness", my American citizenship?
