For all this talk of pan africanism, you guys sure do love deflecting conversations about chinese colonialism.

I think African leadership gets away with so much corruption largely due to an uneducated populace. If an educated populace knew how much they were being robbed there would me mass revolutions. The solution is to spread mass awareness to citizens of African countries.

The problem here is China is giving loans to undemocratic corrupt governments and when they fail to payback... Which happens 99% of the time, then SOE's are grabbed by China for failure to pay the loans etc.
This is plunging the African populace into worse situations and fueling civil wars etc.

Sad but China is recolonizing Africa and robbing the continent blind.
Asia didnt have mineral wealth so they were forced to devise other means to earn an income, such as ensuring your kids get seriously educated..African governments with lots of mineral wealth got complacent, but also had to deal with European countries that sought that mineral wealth and signed them up to shytty deals, same as theyre doing with China.
And immediately after independence, the problem Africans made was electing the very freedom fighters who fought against European colonialism to Government. A freedom fighter, rebel or guerilla is meant to fight a war and bring you liberation, not now govern you. The rebels had no formal education etc but had fought off the whites, so they were elected presidents and ministers etc, which was a terrible mistake. These dudes knew nothing of how to run an economy and governemt, yet there were Africans who knew how but got over looked due to people being glad the Europeans were now gone so elected the liberators which never ends well.

The Chinese will never invest in the industrialization of the continent, all they build are shytty Roads and Malls etc. Why cant they invest in such projects if they have an ounce of care for Africa?
Africa needs to industrialize their nations and have strong trade ties across the continent. Most of African countries import everything from China + the west. You have countries that have been mining Gold/Diamonds etc but export all that to Europe/China and dont have facilities that process raw material to finished product
Breh... i have traveled to a whole lot of countries in Africa and most dont do shyt for themselves... they import errrthang!
Maybe a large scale Recolonization of the whole continent will wake folks up?

Africans and African Americans suffer from the same condition..
Expecting and wanting the rest of the world to love us..we hate the idea of being by ourselves, but truth of the matter is we are all by ourselves and have always been.
These new leaders in Africa are garbage for the most part and because of their uselessness are now forced to invite foreigners in to do projects that we should have done ourselves long ago. They are putting their youth in a position where they will in turn have to now expel Chinese the same way their forefathers expelled Europeans.
